Aungier & Wexford Street Student Testimonials
"I stayed at Wexford St accommodation for 3 years till I graduated and could not have picked a better place. Being surrounded by other RCSI students and excellent staff created a memorable college experience. Within walking distance from groceries, takeaway and RCSI, the location was excellent. The building was built 3 years ago and has excellent design and furniture. The management also hosted dinners which was very lovely and made us feel like a large family. Storage was provided to keep our things for over the summer which was an added perk. I highly recommend this accommodation and would love here again given the chance."
"I just wanted to say that I had a great experience living here this year at the Wexford Street residence. I really felt taken care of and can't wait to come back in September. Coming to live in another country was daunting at first, but this residence made the transition so much easier than I could have imagined. Thanks for all your help."
"I would just like to thank you most sincerely for your kindness and generosity (offering me the place in Aungier Street Student Accommodation) last year. You have no idea how wonderful an opportunity it was, truly! The location to college campus considering my timetable (especially first semester) was brilliant! My flat mates - all I can say is “I have made friends for life”. I have never before shared with 5 such wonderful, caring people and it must be a blessing to have them stay on with you!!! I would also like to pass on my gratitude to [member of the student residence management team] for his dedication, work, care and for the laughs and chats throughout the year! He is truly a great asset and partner/colleague to you. I wish you all the best and hope that we might be in touch again in the future! Thanks again for everything, it’s been great and I will honestly miss Aungier Street Student Accommodation immensely. I’m leaving it with many fond college memories."
"Aungier Street Student Accommodation - it’s a 10/10 from me. Being 100% honest Aungier Street Student Accommodation has to be one of my favourite things about living in Dublin for the last four years. The apartment offered me a home away from home right in the heart of Dublin city. The location meant I rarely, if ever, had to rely on public transport as everything I needed was within a stone's throw; shops, restaurants, gyms, Stephen’s Green. Having my own bright and spacious bedroom, with my own en suite is something not easily come by in the city but it made a huge difference to everyday living in student accommodation and something I personally appreciated each and every year I returned to Aungier Street. Apart from my own space, the kitchen and living area was very comfortable and easily shared with my roommates. We had a balcony off the kitchen which was a very welcomed treat when the sun came out in Dublin or in the height of exam season when we used take our coffee breaks outside without the need to leave the apartment. The accommodation is highly secure which meant that when I did leave valuables in the apartment I was never worried or when I was alone and my roommates had gone home I felt safe and secure off a very busy street. The other residents at Aungier Street were equally respectful for the fact that we were students studying and I never had to leave my room to go to the library but was able to study at home in peace and quiet. In addition to the beautiful property itself, I cannot speak highly enough of the care we were given by [members of the student residence management team] which hugely added to our stay. Being away from home as students in demanding courses can be difficult but no matter what went wrong for us, a light bulb going, the need for an extra chair, a new kettle or more cutlery it was never a problem and we were given what we needed sooner than we could have gotten it ourselves and without the hassle. To be honest, I am very sad that my time in Aungier Street has come to an end and I will miss the great times I had and people I met there. But I am excited for the next group of students to move in and I have no doubt they too will enjoy their time in Aungier Street Student Accommodation as much as we did."
